Elijah Dillehay is a New York City-based performer, teacher, and yogi. He hails originally from the tiny farming community of Defeated Creek, TN. Elijah began his Arts training at the age of seven. Requested by his mother, private piano lessons began soon to be followed by trumpet, oboe, and voice lessons. Dance and theatre first came into Elijah’s life through High School band and musical theatre productions. He studied dance briefly at Middle Tennessee State University before diving headfirst into the ballet world at Nashville Ballet. Elijah later graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Boston Conservatory with a BFA in Contemporary Dance Performance. Elijah is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. He completed his 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Sonic Yoga in NYC under the direction of Lauren Hanna. Some of his professional performance credits include Charlie & The Chocolate Factory (1st National Tour), Newsies (WPPAC), Grease (RCCL), Nutcracker (Nashville Ballet), and NC17 (Red Sky Studios). During his free time, Elijah enjoys searching for the best plant-based cheese and being a pet dad to his favorite pup and feline.
